10.00 - Meeting with Electrician (suggested by Finques les Voltes)
- Met with Jordi Perla(ins.jordiperla@hotmail.com) about the electricity in the house.
- Maria (from FlV) translated (Jordi's Castellano was very clear so I managed to catch a lot of it)
- Electricity meter will have to be moved outside
- Jordi can obtain a temporary 'for works' meter/supply where the supply currently enters the building
- Later he can install the new outside meter with cables to be connected when the electricity supplier
- Cables will be laid to where the meter will ultimately be, then passed through the central wall to existing meter temporarily
- 6.9kW supply will probably be required (standard for size of house)
- Turned on the light - it works!
- Water supply will have to be moved outside (currently a standpipe inside, that does have water!)
- Jordi recommended BigMat for building materials - John is not impressed with their prices!

- returned forms to school with photocopies of all docs/passports and NIEs
- discussed fees for April (when we'll be in the UK to sort out visa) and 'we'll sort that out then' (???)
- arranged for both E&F to do Wednesday after-school chess club (at what cost though?)
