The story so far (this week)

• 
  Marc Salabert starts on the garage opening work Monday
• 6 x 2.5x1.25m 18mm pine ply ordered from Fusteria Nadal to be picked up by Marc Monday (~300€)
• Visited Pere Aguilar in La Bisbal about garage doors - quote will maybe be done next week. Lead time to make doors - 3-4 weeks
• Eventually arranged with Portec (also La Bisbal but no public showroom) to come to the house tomorrow (maybe)
• Visited Angel Mir to see their garage doors. Spoke (at last!) to Louis who has been trying to contact the ajuntament to see if painted ply on a panelled (cheap!) garage door will meet their requirements - to no avail. Asked him to send the quote anyway - John has to let him know what ply we hope to use so he can do calculations on weight. Everyone is very puzzled by the painted wood requirement of the ajuntament.
• Dump run - another 300kg of runas gone!
• Really windy - la Tramuntana from the north, bitter - apparently it will be with us for a week or so - eek!
• John and I took down the concrete beams at the back yesterday. They were rather heavy - nuff said...
• 18/1/23 - 3000€ bond paid to ajuntament
